This is for my senior retired racer who is arthritic. The mattress is wonderful. Holds his weight evenly and does help those old bones. Many less groans coming from him as he gets comfy. My only suggestion is that the manufacturer rethink the well sewn cover with sherpa type side. The faux fleece shreds easily if the dog in question is a "nester" I did slip on a secondary cover to prevent the fleece from being dug through and scattered all over the carpet.

this product has exceeded my expectations. I have a 6 year old lab and was looking for a bed not only large enough,but also having enough support to give her a comfortable bed. My dog no long jumps on my bed to sleep, as she is totally content with her new ortho mat.

Our aging lab seems quite comfortable with this bed. I'd relied on double "stuffed" mats which required constant fluffing (and in so doing would release the odor of the dog...ick...). Although my dog can't "scrunch" the mat as she did with the old one, she's happy. I'm happy with the lack of odor.

great product!
This bed is great! It holds its shape (unlike some fluffy beds) and my 90 lb lab loves it! It is the perfect size and gives great support for an older dog.

Chewy
This mattress arrived promptly & was as advertised. Unfortunately my goldendoodle ate it the first night. Thought she was old enough not to chew it up. Maybe next year.

great bed
This is a great bed. Our dog loves it and when he lays on it for a while he stands up much easier then when he sleeps on anything else.
