It vibrates in the spot where the 4 batteries are put. But the rest of it doesn't vibrate so I have to move it around to the spots of the neck and shoulders that hurts. I thought it would wrap around farther. But it does help and I am pleased to have it to add to the combination of things I have to use daily to ease the daily pain in my neck/shoulders. I go through alot of AA batteries that's for sure.

I have memory foam pillows and a mattress topper which are super comfortable so I was excited about the additional massaging action in the neck pillow. However, the foam in the neck pillow seams to be really dense, unlike my other pillows, and it gives more "support" than "cushion." My neck doesn't sink into the foam. The density; however, most likely is the reason the vibration seems to travel throughout the entire pillow very nicely. I was thinking it might be a little noisy to other passengers when on a plane, but not bad enough to prevent me from using it. :D

The first one I received did not vibrate. I returned it for a replacement and the replacement did not work either. I returned the second one and asked for a refund.

I thought one of the reviewers was exaggerating but I guess not. Hard as a rock is a good description. I returned it. It doesn't feel like memory foam... it felt like block foam.

The massage is just a NOISY buzzing motor - very annoying when you're trying to relax. The memory foam crushes at the back of the neck while the part around the front remains plump and awkward. We took the noisy vibration contraption out of it and still don't like it.

I bought this pillow after quite some researching given its combination of price and the added feature of a neck massage. This was for our nearly 24 hours trip from US to India with a few stop overs. The pillows were indeed handy to have during the 8/9 hour flights. Found these to be a bit harder than I like, but it did support my neck well. The battery operated neck massager was really a relief to use sometimes and it worked well. The battery pack inside the pillows did attract attention of Airport security - so keep the pillows in a place easy enough to pull out in case questioned.

I bought the massage pillow for a friend. Her husband had a stroke and he has problem with his shoulder. I told her she could use it on his shoulder. I have one that I bought a couple of years ago, that I use all the time.

Forget the other bad reviews.
I bought this because I had allot of traveling in airplanes and long car trips coming up. I always got a sore neck due to the lack of support. Let me tell you that this thing fits the back of the neck perfectly and supports your head well. Also, for just lounging around the house, i can put it on and it feels good. Just buy it if you are considering you won't regret it.

Rigid as a rock. Zero comport level. Return shipping will cost me almost the price. Now I'm stuck with this horrible neck rest.
