I Bought 3 items to improve the quality of my life; For the rest of my life I will own one of these. It is excellent for chronic pain, muscle spasms, and circulation. It gives a wonderful variety of massage, speeds of massage, intensity of that massage, and heat that can be on or off. I have lupus (which has attacked my muscles and nerves) and fibromyalgia; this has relieved much of my pain for extended periods of time. I have let other use it; with variety of illnesses and circulation problems. They have all said they weren't leaving or were in love.
My christmas shopping list this year will have several of these on it for my family and friends. In the past, being in the car for extendeed periods of time has been hard; driving has been especailly difficult. Now, I can't wait to try it on my next trip! I believe it will make a big difference with this heavenly health tool. If you want a good massage tool, to improve chronic pain or quality of life by reducing pain, Please try this.

This product provides only superficial relief; don't buy this product for a massage that is more than skin deep. This product works by vibrating little disks. Because these disks are so flat, they don't penetrate deep into the muscle. Changing the intensity and speed doesn't increase penetration, either, and in fact, if you're focusing on your neck area, can feel quite unpleasant because your throat will vibrate just as much as your neck.

While the product is designed to hit five major areas--the neck, upper back, lumbar, lower back, and thighs--you won't benefit from the full body "vibration" (massage) if you're short (I'm 5'3"). You actually need to scoot up or down to pin-point the area that's tight or sore. And again, the flat vibrating disks only massage the surface skin; any deep aching will still be there when you're finished.

The heating element worked okay, but it would better accompany a kneading action that could penetrate below the skin. Too bad they didn't design the product with finger-like objects beneath the material that could apply more pressure to sore areas.

This thing smelled terrible. It worked fine, but it smelled like a skunk. It reeked so bad that it fouled up my whole living room. I had to eventually move it to another room and open the window and turn on a fan. Two days later it still smelled. I don't know if I got something from a bad batch or what. I even called Comfort Products to discuss the problem but they were unhelpful. I eventually returned this item to Amazon. If you have a keen sense of smell don't buy this product.

The 10 area massage from Comfort products is great. The hand held controller lets me pin point those hard to reach areas and I can get a complete massage at home.

This product works extremely well. It has one area that could be improved- the controller backlight goes off after a short time and it would be an improvement if it stayed on while unit was active.

Just got mine today, delivered at work. It's exactly what I expected, and does just what it says it will do. I got it because I have chronic problems with pain in the back of my thighs, and sitting for long periods really exacerbates the problem. I found lots of selections that provide various levels of massage and/or vibration for the back, but nothing addressing the thighs. And most of the others have 4 or 6 motors, compared to the 10 you get with Comfort Products' version! The heat function could be a touch warmer, but it's still comforting and doesn't make you sweat. The controls are easy to read, with lots of choices, including several modes of massage (wave, pulse, random, etc.), a heat option, various duration periods, and a choice of which area(s) you want to focus on. Comes with a full 3 year (!) warranty on any defect, and also a converter for plugging into your cigarette lighter in your car. For under $50 and with free shipping, this is a terrific deal! I'm taking the one I bought for work HOME, and buying a second one for work. And... maybe another for my Mom for Christmas. I haven't smelled anything funny (like one reviewer did), nor did I expect or want an intense deep-tissue massage... I simply wanted something to keep the circulation moving, and this perfectly fits the bill.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He is always taking long road trips and suffers from chronic back problems. He is more then pleased with this gift. I was worried b/c some reviews said the pressure wasn't very strong but that wasn't the case for us. He Loves it! And the heat works great too! He has told several people about it and they are all looking in to buying one. I would absolutely recommend this product to others!!

This is installed on an office chair where it gets sat on for 8+ hour intervals whether it's on or not, so comfort plays a big role in my opinion here, and this thing doesn't disappoint... I replaced a worn-out Homedics model with this one and it's much better - no giant hard lumps in the seating surface and it seems to actually add to the cushion of the chair.

One of my primary reasons for having a massage pad is heat - the office power circuits can't handle the 1000+ watts needed for a space heater in a cubicle, but the >35 watts needed to heat this pad is no problem. The heat is also more effective, as it is applied directly to the body instead of being wasted in the surrounding air.

The massage function works perfectly, and it's nice to be able to adjust the intensity across such a wide range for each area individually. At lower speeds, it's surprisingly quiet too, and nobody but me knows it's on. (This is a sharp contrast to the old unit, which the person in the cubicle next to mine said sounded like an animal running through the woods.)

The only complaint I have with this unit is the timer that can't be switched off. The maximum time it will go without user input is 30 minutes. If it had an infinity setting, it'd be a 5-star product.

I love this massager, I been looking for a massager like this one for so long and now i finally have it, it has 10 motor and it vibrates so strongly which i like. it has five different program plus heat. this is a great investment.if you like strong vibration and heat i suggest you get this one. yes and yes and yes i would recommend it.

This is the perfect product for someone who likes to sit in a comfortable lounge chair while reading a good book. The back massage is the icing on the cake!
