Souped up with five massaging motors, this leather office chair from Comfort Products helps relieve the discomfort of sitting at a desk for long hours at a stretch. The chair's motors are broadly distributed to deliver a vibrating massage to the upper back, lower back, and thighs. A simple LED control panel lets you select from three body areas, three levels of intensity, and two styles of massage--targeted vibrations or random pulsing. The chair's rechargeable battery eliminates troublesome cords and delivers three hours of massage on a 10-hour charge. Indicators on the control panel keep you posted on battery power, and the chair automatically shuts off the massage function when you stand up. Equipped with adjustable tilt, height, lock, and tension features, the chair is covered in black cowhide. Small users may want to note that its dimensions are rather roomy--not everyone will feel the upper back massage in full. Not really a massage.,

I got one of these for my desk at work and I was really looking forward to a little back rub during my lunch break. I can't say it has fulfilled all my expectations.Instead of a massage, what it gives is a little vibration in one of 3 zones (thighs, lower back & upper back) or a 'pulsating massage', which is just a euphemism for the vibration thing going from zone to zone to zone. It can be a little disconcerting at times, and I never find the thigh thing anything but annoying. In addition, the upper back massage makes you sound funny if you're talking on the phone. The chair itself is fairly comfortable, with pneumatic height adjustment and a good tilt back mechanism. The massager is on a timer, and fortunately also shuts off as soon as you stand up. It is rechargeable too, though I have an outlet behind my chair and just leave it plugged in all the time. It's not bad, it's just that it's not very good either.
