This round EZ Close Comfort Seat toilet seat made of white color plastic. It has a regular closed front with a cover. It prevents slamming of the toilet seat, no pinching of fingers and is safer for children. It consists of high impact, chemically resistant polypropylene. This is very simple to install - only needing a screw driver. It is corrosion proof and comes with self-aligning hardware.

so, just kinda pay attention...what I mean to say is: If this is in your main/only bathroom, after a few weeks of use you may develop the tendency to drop less-familiar seats to a SNAP!!! only to be ridiculed by anyone within earshot. Other than that weird attribute, this thing is great but could be uncomfortable for someone with a substantial backside
(i.e. a fat a**) Nice seat!

Good product. Great price. It is a plastic toilet seat. So the only slight problem I have noticed is when the toilet seat is down and you sit on the lid part it does tend to bend in a little. I don't have a problem with that, but someone who is a heavier person might.
