You get good value for what you pay. It is a comfortable feather bed that will add comfort to an otherwise firm mattress. That said, it is NOT a luxurious, pure-down-filled, fitted, top quality feather bed. Dollar-for-dollar, it's excellent though.

Overall quality is ok, but it is a couple inches too small both length and width, which makes it annoying. should not of expected too much considering the price point...

I did not expect top quality for the price I paid for this featherbed but I was pleasantly surprised by the workmanship when I received it. After sleeping on it for over a week now, I find it to be very comfortable and just as cozy as my old one which I had bought on QVC years ago and paid twice the price. This one is not quite as heavy, which makes it easier to turn and actually softer to sleep on. It has much more "Give" which I love. I have not seen any lose feathers coming out of it yet (and I check every morning), nor have I felt any poking me throughout the night. For the first three days it had a slight odor to it (common with feathers and down)but that disappeared very quickly after putting it in the dryer for abot 20 minutes. The same with the bonus pillows. They are actually very nice and though I do not sleep on them, I used them in my shams and they are thick and fluffy. I am more than pleased with this purchase, and, needless to say, also the price.
