4.0 out of 5 stars My feet needed help
I never saw these advertised on TV but knew they existed because of researching methods to help alleviate foot pain. So I finally got around to trying these after having seen them in a few special care catalogs. They are much better than the rubbery divider thingy that can only be used for a few minutes. These may be used longer depending upon how you place the dividers...

3.0 out of 5 stars "Foot Alignment" is a lofty claim
While these socks are comfortable and do look exactly like the picture, I was a little disappointed -- they will not do much to align a foot. However, they are great for painting toenails while moisturizing feet/heels! The directions recommend wearing them for short periods of time until you're used to them -- I had no problems and could sleep all night in them right off...

I never saw these advertised on TV but knew they existed because of researching methods to help alleviate foot pain. So I finally got around to trying these after having seen them in a few special care catalogs. They are much better than the rubbery divider thingy that can only be used for a few minutes. These may be used longer depending upon how you place the dividers between the toes. I can wear them for quite a while and the foot that was having a lot of problems (as opposed to the one with minor issues) has improved a fair bit. The price here was the best I'd seen so far and I got them very quickly. They fit just a wee bit long as all socks do on my feet and since I don't wear them inside shoes or slippers, I wish they had a rubber sole so they wouldn't get filthy walking around in them. I'd like to have these in other colors too.

I've been looking for something like these for a long time. Right out of the package and onto my feet. I agree that the light color could be a problem with soiling, but I compensate for that by putting another pair of socks on over them. Comfy and cozy.

I like to wear toe spreaders while sleeping, but have found the gel spreaders and the "Yogas" to be very bulky and sticky. I toss around quite a bit in bed, and the friction between the rubber spreaders and my flannel sheets wake me and actually cause them to come off my feet during the night. Problem solved with these socks! My feet feel great in the morning.

I've done quite a bit of online research about avoiding bunions, hammer toes and cross-over toes (a gift of my genetic code) and most professionals say that stretching the toes will not only relieve but PREVENT and CURE foot problems without surgery, orthotics or medication.

Grab a pair of these. You won't be sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars exceeded my expectations, January 21, 2010

I bought these socks after I read about them in the airline magazine. I started yoga about 3 months ago and bought these to help spread my toes. I wear them about once a week for an hour around the house. When I take them off, I can see that my toes are more spread (good for balance and aesthetically it takes away the appearance of bunions). I don't see the socks as a cure for bunions and certainly the yoga postures require on-going practice, but these socks are super comfy and are a good supplement to aid me in my yoga practice. If that is also your intention, I highly recommend them!

This socks are extremely comfortable. I have poor circulation in my feet, so the fact that I have the warmth of a sock while stretching my toes is great. They are very soft but kind of difficult to get on - you get better at it quickly though. The only reason I am not giving this five stars is because I don't feel like they stretch the toes as far as a hard toe stretcher would. The upside is I have tried to find a hard toe stretcher that would fit my foot but my feet are too small (and my toes too inflexible) to fit any of them. These socks work very well.

So much nicer to wear than the harder plastic spacers. These do the job, but are soft and comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Instant "ahhhhhh.", August 27, 2010

I've always had the makings of some pretty amazing bunions (thank you, ballet....and Mom's high arches), but only recently did they become painful and worrisome, which is how I began cruising the interweb in search of non-surgical relief options. When the deliverywoman arrived, the box didn't even hit the porch--I whisked these puppies inside and slipped them on IMMEDIATELY. I'm actually wearing them as I type this review. They give me the effect of flossing my toes with my fingers, except that when I have my fingers interlaced with my toes, typing is far more difficult.

Because I do yoga (and am kind of weird anyway), my toes already have some pretty good innate spreading ability. As I suspected, I could easily slide the spreaders all the way down upon first wearing. That's probably the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5--because I feel that I will probably need something with a little more "oomph" after wearing these for awhile. But they are very comfortable and are definitely holding my errant toes in beautiful alignment right now.

Why are you hesitating? Stop procrastinating by reading these reviews! For $6-ish, you should have clicked 'add to cart' already. (Unless you're one of those one-click people.)

Once you get used to wearing these socks throughout the night, your feet feel more refreshed, with less bunion pain throughout the day. It takes some time to get used to them, however. The only drawback for me is the heaviness of the socks; it makes it uncomfortable to wear in the summertime.

Bought these when I was having a major bunion flare-up. They helped a little but was too inflamed. Wound up getting the bunion regulator which I wore at night for 2 weeks and pain was gone. I like these now to keep toes open. Hoping they will prevent future flare ups.

The directions recommend wearing them for short periods of time until you're used to them -- I had no problems and could sleep all night in them right off the bat. I think if they were really doing some "alignment" (or were more profoundly seperating the toes, like "Yoga Toes" or something like that) you would have to work up to all night.

Yup, these are comfy. I find that my toes get cold wearing these so I just put slipper socks over the top. The instructions say not to wear them but a few minutes, well I wear them through a whole movie. My feet always feel better after. Glad I own them.
