At first glance, this seems like the perfect balance of cuddly and functional. Well, guess what? It IS!

This darling Wookie is adorable and fits everything I need for a typical day at my college. (Although I do put my spare sunglasses on HIS face, just to hold them).

However, Wookies are a GREAT responsibility. Their hair is ridiculous and will need to be styled every day, even if it's just a quick (but gentle!) brushing. When you first get your sweet Wookie, he might shed a little, but that will most likely go away in time. You might want to pack a lint roller into his back just in case.

All-in-all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. However, it is not one to be acted upon without much consideration. Please remember that you're getting more than just a backpack when you choose this: You're getting a friend. A friend that holds stuff.

I am 19 years old and I ordered the chewbacca back buddy for myself. It arrived a day before it said it would and it is really fun and cool. Only cons, very hot on back and is slightly itchy from all the hair, which is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. Also, it is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Other than that, I love it.

Grandson spotted the Chewbacca Back Buddy at Disneyland during a recent visit and really liked it but it was expense. I went on line and found this item on Amazon for $15 cheaper. It always pays to search for better prices and free shipping is always a bonus if I can find it (most of the time on Amazon).

my daughther who is 14 loves this thing. i wouldnt call it a toy, its more of a backpack. i thought it was a little high but she wanted it for christmas so there you go. hes kinda cute but they could have used button eyes instead of stitched eyes because his hair covers his eyes and you can barely see them. you also need to be careful when zipping its pocket its lining and hair get in the plastic zipper and it gets stuck. i give it an overall 85 but my daughter would give it a 100.

Got this for my BF and he loved it!! Chewy looks just like the one in the pic and he was shipped very quickly. The box was pretty big for the size of the backpack, but I guess that's the way they package it to keep from damage. Everything was just as described. My only complaint is that the zipper can get snagged on the inside pouch or in Chewy's hair, but that's more of a manufacturing issue. My BF and I are very happy with the purchase!

Usually the bag is twice as much price, brand new too! Seen it at stores for a ridiculous price, received in great time.

My son saw a man walking around with this back pack on during our Spring Break trip last year in Tennessee. He LOVED it then, and had to have it! It is absolutely awesome!!!

First, the negative:

- It's pretty small. But I didn't expect it to be that big.

- It sheds a bit at first. (It is very long hair, 3 inches)

- Kinda smells funny for a bit. (The fur captures dust.)

It is a cool pack and would definitely get you noticed. The pocket is just large enough for an old style tin lunchbox or a PJ set for kids.

If you are an adult, the shoulder straps will adjust for you, but forget about the belt.

Reading the specs, it is Windows/Mac and smartphone compatible, but a little small for a laptop.

Saw people walking around Disneyland wearing this and wanted it because its adorable, but it was $60. Loved getting the exact same Chewbacca back pack and saving $20!!! Its so cute the way it looks like he's hugging you while you're wearing it!!!

I think that this is the most awesome-looking backpack I've seen, but if you're using it for school prepare to carry most of your standard-sized textbooks and journals by hand. It is not very spacious, but is bound to be an excellent ice-breaker!
