good ole band from Cologne,

The band BAP (which means "Father") has been around for quite a while. I actually bought this CD because the song "Ahnunfürsich" is the title song of one of my favorite German shows and it has such an infectious rhythm. I must admit that I will probably never truly master the dialect the people of Cologne speak, but I like the BAP songs nevertheless.

This album is pretty good. I like the music, and it is kind of fun trying to figure out what these guys are saying. They are singing in a dialect from the area of Köln (Colonge to English-speakers). I have German friends who can't really understand these guys (even one from Köln). But I still enjoy their music. I give it four stars since they are so hard to understand (if I could only understand them, I'd give 'em five stars).
