[Cleopatra] follow the standard formula for R&B success: hip-hop beats, dance-inducing bass grooves and soaring vocal harmonies.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cleopatra is better than you might think., January 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Comin' Atcha (Audio CD)
When I first heard (and saw) "Cleopatra's Theme" on the Disney channel, I thought it was kind of cheesy. But my friend got their CD, and I discovered that I love some of their songs. "I want you back" is an awesome remake of the Jackson 5 song, and "Life Ain't Easy" makes you think of Robyn, but it's all in Cleopatra's style. You should buy this CD if you're a fan of Hanson, N Sync, Backstreet Boys, Robyn, or Divine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comin Atcha!, January 23, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Comin' Atcha (Audio CD)
The whole album being written by a young girl called cleo and recorded at the age of 14 is crazy! this chick sounds like shes 20-something not 14! her big voice shines brightly and every track is as sweet and meldoic as can be! its rare to get a girl group outta the UK that can sing, act, dance as well as these girls!
This is a must have album for all r&b fans!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars rather weak debut, January 5, 2004
By Sinitta (Germany) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Comin' Atcha (Audio CD)
I liked the group and the two singles...but was disappointed with this album. Too pop-ish, too weak songs and a very weak production. Releasing a Jackson 5 cover-version as a third single probably did the rest.
