This is a great story that I first read years ago and even today it still touches me in a deep and emotional way. Teens can easily relate to this book and adults will reminisce. This book is not for the timid reader. Ms. Hewett keeps it real as she tells an urban, modern day tale that will never grow old of first love, envy, discipline, making choices, and staying true to yourself and your heart.

This book is a wonderful, realistic portrayal of a young woman who comes to find out who she really is while managing to fall in love at the same time. I read this book when it was first published and it never fails to touch me when I pick it up now years later.

This is by far the bestbook i've read in a long time. I couldn't put it down. I had to read it twice then three times so i assured myself i didnt miss anything. I am very impressed with Ms. Hewetts writing ability and recommend it o everyone.
