More About the Author

Born into a secular Jewish family, and faced with a traumatic childhood, Penina embraced Christianity while in High School. However, after 17 years in leadership in the Christian and Hebrew-Christian communities, Penina Taylor's search for Truth brought her to a revelation that turned her world upside down, and in 2000, she embraced the Faith of her forefathers by returning to Judaism.

Penina's incredible story, which is at times more unbelievable than fiction, is a tale of divine providence, spirituality and a tenacious search for truth which has inspired tens of thousands of Jews across the globe and from every walk of life.

Now, as a Jew who has "come home", Penina talks to Jewish audiences across the religious spectrum in the hopes of giving strength and encouragement; empowering the Jewish community in its fight against influences that spiritually threaten the Jewish people and inspiring individuals towards a more meaningful Jewish experience.

An author, speaker, seminary and yeshiva lecturer, and Executive Director of Shomrei Emet Institute and Torah Life Strategies, Penina regularly answers questions from Jews and non-Jews alike on Jewish/Christian Polemics, Israel and its relationship with Evangelical Christianity, Developing an Intimate Relationship with God, finding balance and fulfillment in life as well as many other inspirational topics.

So many children experience the pain of "names are never called when choosing sides for basketball," but we all need relationships like oxygen. To survive loneliness many desperate kids even join gangs to feel the warmth of human connection. Jewish Penina found that connection in Christianity. After many years of working her way into the Christian intelligentsia, Penina surprisingly comes face-to-face with ironclad evidence of her comfortable, new world being a faithless faith and is forced to make the hardest of decisions.

The only thing that compelled me to put this book down was...SLEEP! Penina & her husband deeply inspired me, made me cry and amazed me with crazy unexpected situations and events. I also got a much clearer understanding of messianic Christianity's agenda and what makes them tick "behind the curtain" and how they are able to prey on Jews with weak Jewish educational backgrounds.

Inspiring , honest page turner .... Penina does not sugar coat her life or feelings. As this reader "traveled" through the pages , I found myself caring for her and her journey. She illuminates her thought process so the reader can see the "why " of her growth. We were so glad she embraced her Torah heritage and is now elevating the whole experience to help others. Welcome home, Penina!

Once I started reading this book I couldn't stop. It is a beautiful and inspiring story about Penina Taylor and her family, and all of the different experiences and struggles that they went through. This book really helped me because I could relate to so much of it. It is a beautiful story about finally coming home to Judaism and Torah.
