Stuart Fish has written a very personal, straight forward account of the dilemma he faced when he realized that his gay fantasies were actually more than fantasy. I appreciate his honesty and his willingness to share the challenges through a series of short stories that demonstrated the adjustments that he needed to make as a gay man after living his life as a straight man with wife and children.

I can only imagine the kind of courage that he needed in order to change his life so drastically and then to share it with the world.

Thanks, Stuart, for writing this book. I appreciate being able to understand a little bit better what my gay friends have had to go through.

This is not a traditional narrative biography, but, rather a series of stories for which you get the conversational feel of a man telling you his life over a few drinks. They work together to give you the beginning of Stuart Fish's life, as he goes about changing himself entirely, after he had arrived to a life for which most people dream of. Though such memoirs can often leave you annoyed, or uncaring of the writer, who begins seeking fulfillment and self-discovery, when again, other people would've felt fulfilled and discovered, Stuart makes an impassioned and interesting read, for which, you can come to understand life in general better.

The only question you then have is why should you care? Who is Stuart Fish?

Well, amongst these stories lay a good sense of humor, insight into search for more meaning, and the timeless need inside of all of us to find personal fulfillment.

Stuart's book about coming out is a very interesting read.

He documents the process through short stories which play out over many years.

Even at the age of 45 Stuart finds himself asking the eternal question..."Is There More To Life." A successful career, father, husband and former Army soldier turns to a new chapter in his life.

His short stories are easy to read, fun to follow and makes you think about life in ways others don't.

Keep living the life you want Stuart, good stuff.
