Excellent Railroad History Book. I have hundreds of Railroad books and this ranks in the top five. Excellent collection of photos of the industries served by this surprisingly busy shortline. Very good history of the development of the industries and the railroad. If you are interested in New England railroads and late nineteenth century/early twentieth century industrial history you will not be disappointed. I have been eagerly awaiting volume II.

This is a great book if you are interested in the Hoosac Tunnel & Wilmington RR. Lots of area photos and info! A must-have!
