These are useful hooks. Don't forget they only hold a half pound; less than the weight of a wet washcloth. Buy 3M hook 17002 or 17003 if you want something stronger.

Don't forget the instructons to: 1) prep the mounting site weith alcohol; 2) press hard 3) wait for the adhesive to set before using the hook.

Pros: I had four of these up and they held small objects (static loads) just fine. Before applying I cleaned each surface with 95% isopropanol.

Cons: Three out of the four were difficult to remove after a year. Instead of the adhesive stretching and eventually pulling completely free like it's supposed to, the adhesive broke (one out of four came away cleanly as advertised). Instead of being to reuse the hooks I had to break them apart to get to the adhesive. The adhesive did eventually come free of the wall without damage but it was much more difficult than expected.

This seems to be a problem restricted to these tiny hooks--the larger ones have worked just fine for me.

We use these for holding up Christmas lights in the house and so far they have worked great. None have fallen off and they're pretty easy to use.
Only con is that you have to put them up and wait about 20 minutes for them to set before hanging anything from them. I'd say thats not too bad considering how well they work and that they aren't supposed to come off clean.

i used these to hang my xmas garlands with decorations. i know each can only support half a pound so i didnt space them too far apart. the transparent design makes them nearly invisible when mounted. great product

They really are. u can use them anywhere and they come off easily. and fairly strong...but not great, especially if they havent been set right.

I used these to hang calendars without damaging walls at home and at work. You can get a paperclip and hang the calendar off of the hooks. They support the weight of a full size calendar without problem.

Also I did not clean the wall with ethanol as instructed in the directions, and the hooks worked just fine(I used water).

I bought these as a college student to hang my whiteboard up on my door. They worked perfectly! Very creative idea that you can take it down and it will go right back up. :)

After reading another person's review, I bought the 3M Command Mini Hooks to keep the cords of my window shades up and out of the way. I had been hanging the cords on the window latches instead, but this works so much better because it keeps my view totally unobstructed. The mini hooks were small enough to fit right on the window frame itself which worked great for all of my double and triple windows. I couldn't be happier!

I used these hooks to hang twinkle lights around the house and they didn't budge. When we moved, I simply pulled on the white strip and "voila!", no markings!!

They are a handy product (and product line) that is quick to install and doesn't put holes in your was and it can be taken down very easily. Period.
