These are way better than using other things to hang up pictures like nails, thmbtacks, etc. You have the ability to manuever the picture around to make it even. Whereas if you use a nail or thumbtack, you have to put the picture on the hole or string and your are stuck. If you live in an apartment buliding especially, you don't want a bunch of holes in your walls. I love it because they are so versatile. Moving a picture from one room to another is as simple of taking off the command hook, re-positioning it and there are no holes left in the wall! After an earthquake, the pictures with the command hooks were still standing! YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK TO USING ANYTHING ELSE!

Two of these were enough to hang a 5 X 7 metal frame in my kicthen and I didn't even have to wait to for my husband to get to his "honeydo" list. It's too easy.

Got this set and the 17203 small/medium set for hanging our new photo frames for the apartment. We waited overnight to mount the frames after fixing the strips to the wall for (hopefully) better adhesiveness.

It is frustrating that the instructions explain how many strips to use for 3X5 and 5X7 frames, but not 4X6. So we took a chance and put one strip horizontally on top of the frame. A week, and it has held. We bought our frames from a discount store, so they are not very heavy, yet not ultra-light as well.

I would recommend you buy the 17203 set instead, as you get 3 times more strips for almost the same price, and you get some bigger strips as well, so you can hang more frames using lesser strips. See my review on the 17203 as well.

This is a great product! Always holds strong and never damages the wall! I love them!
