The main reason I purchased this item is the command strips are included and I didn't want a permanent fixture. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can insert an 8 1/2" x 11" picture or decorative piece of paper behind the clear plastic. What a great way to show off my 8 month old daughter! Works like a dry erase should and so far I haven't had any problems wiping off the marker with a dry tissue (I need to purchase an eraser).

Works as expected. It was nice to be able to put my own background in it. The mounting strips were easy to use. I have it inside of the pantry door, to keep a running list of what is needed from the store. Wipes clean with a napkin or paper towel. I would recommend this item to a friend. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, it really should come with a small mounted eraser.

I bought this Command Dry Erase Board from Amazon. I stuck it to my kitchen wall. I use this board to list out the grocery items that I must get for the next week as and when I remember. Very useful product.

Flimsy frame construction. Command 17700 Dry Erase Board with Adhesive StripsI tighten brackets & used the Command tabs to put it on frig. One third of writing surface is bulged. You can't write on it, nor tighten surface to remove bulge. Command tabs are great idea, plus the pen attached to the top.

The design of this dry erase board is well thought out and, because of the 3M adhesive strips, can be firmly attached almost anywhere! It is also built as a picture frame so that you can add your favorite picture. We put a picture of our grandchildren in ours and attached it to the refrigerator. Now we are able to keep track of what those leftovers are and when they were made without any guesswork.

I would also suggest that anyone on a diet could place a picture of themselves, or someone else, at their target weight as a reminder of thier goal.
