This stock is great. It functions flawlessly. It's of sturdy construction, locks tightly into place and does not wiggle. It is easy to use and comfortable. The battery hatch would be useful if you like carrying extra batteries, though I don't make use of it. I do, however use the rail on the side for mounting the ACP (Command Arms Adjustable Cheek Piece Md: ACP .) which provides an excellent means of cheek wield. Remember to check which type of tube your AR-15 has, as there are both commercial and Mil-spec sizes. This particular item is commercial.PROS: Tough as nails Battery Compartment Two sling mounting points CONS: None BOTTOM LINE: This is an excellent stock and now the one primarily on my carbine. I would recommend this for anyone with an AR-15 or AK that has a commercial tube.
