4.0 out of 5 stars Command and Conquer 3: Back with a vengence!
Well what can I say, this game is excellent. Like all of the Command and Conquer games, the campaign mode, for all three factions, is fun and addictive. The skirmish mode allows you to extend the life of the game beyond the campaigns, but if you are like myself, you will find yourself wanting to download more maps to make things more interesting. I was very impressed...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun Game, but nobody plays it.
EA Games is very well-known for "ditching their products" after a year or so -- sometimes as early as a few months. While Command & Conquer 3 was a really fun game, you shouldn't expect anyone to be online except a handful of veteran players who will stomp you into the ground. The game hasn't been updated in a very long time, and you cannot expect it to. Games like...

I was very impressed with the risk like, campaign map on the Kane's Wrath add on. The only downside I can think of for this game, is the difficulty in creating ones own maps and editing the game stats. The world builder program is difficult to use, compared to the map editors available for previous C&C titles. Overall the game play is excellent, the graphics are amazing and the campaign mode on it's own, with the all star cast, makes the game well worth the money.

Games like Warcraft 3 have been around for nearly 10 years and it still gets updated once in a while; but I guess that's because Blizzard actually cares.

If you wanna play this game offline for the story mode, or get together with friends and play multi-player, you will have an absolute blast -- but don't expect to find any online play.

Overall a great game, It is what I think every RTS should be. Great balance between factions, Good overall look to the game, and even the cheesy cut scenes add to the game experience. I find the Normal difficulty setting plenty challenging, sometimes frustratingly so. But that is part of what makes the game so playable. If there wasn't a challenge it wouldn't be worth playing.
However, one glitch on loading - The game would not run on my computer until I downloaded the latest patch. I have fairly up-to-date PC (Intel Quad-Core, 6GB RAM, ATI dedicated graphics card, Windows Vista) After the patch was installed the game runs great,

This is a fantastic game. I am somewhat new to the tiberium series, but after catching myself up on the happenings of the first two games, I was very excited for what this game would bring. The cool thing about Tiberium Wars and the expansion, Kane's Wrath, is the integration of epic game play and cinematic storyline. When you are rallying your forces in battle and crushing the foe, life couldn't get much better. The graphics are gorgeous and there are many units and strategies to utilize. Better yet, in between each of these levels are high quality cinematics that tell the story and put you right in the heart of it all. For anyone who either likes real-time strategy games or has enjoyed the tiberium series so far, this is an absolute must.

There were only a few things that I found to be unsatisfactory. First, be careful when setting the anti aliasing level. I realize that this may have just been a hardware issue on my part, but the game would periodically freeze and I would have to start from wherever I saved last. Although very frustrating, I found that if I simply turned the anti aliasing off, the game play became flawless. The other thing is the length of the Scrin campaign. I didn't expect it to be as long as the others, but I hoped that there would have a been a more in-depth storyline to them. I figured that there would be more on the Scrin in Kane's wrath, but they are hardly even mentioned. Personally, I would have loved to know a lot more about the Scrin...and to be able to play as them more extensively :D

Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed this game, and although there are some minor flaws, it's nothing that seriously detracts from the game itself.

I have a new PC with windows 7 64 bit and I installed this on it. It installed OK (I think), but when I try to run it, I get an error on my monitor 'Unsupported Video Resolution'. My monitor is 1920x1200. I'm guessing it's trying to launch in something like 2560x?. I'm stuck because I have to start the game to change the resolution and I can't start the game because of the resolution.

I'm using the latest patch.

Hopefully EA will come out with a patch for windows 7.

I played it in Vista on my old computer and it was pretty good.

Great game a must have if you like strategy games and if you have followed C&C games like I have since 1995 and now we wait for the lastest from EA Games C&C 4. Checkout the clips on facebook and be a fan. Kanes Wraith adds new toys to blow things up with and more of that great cutting edge graphics we have seen since C&C Generals. C&C 3 goes beyond anything you have seen, but beward read the hardware requirements they are increasing as well. Also unfortunately doesn't like 64bit OS. Works best with Windows XP. So I had to downgrade all my PCs to be better compatiable.

I have been spoiled by the great game features (strategic zoom) and epic scale of Supreme Commander Gold Edition. I have been spoiled by the gameplay and lifelike animation of Company of Heroes: Gold Edition. Both those games also offered something new to the genre, whereas CC3 feels like more of the same. The game has run well for me. I have no complaints about the campaign story line. But I just feel like the only way I could really be blown away by this game is if I was completely new to the RTS genre or if this game had come out five years ago.
