3.0 out of 5 stars Well...
Would have been a lot more fun had the multiplayer component worked...that being why I purchased it. The error was that it could not connect to westwood online, although my internet connection was 100mbs, and currently connected. Having tried multiple times, I eventually gave up, mourning the loss of my wasted money. The game itself is aged but still fun.

This game is so cool! My best friend has it,and I'm getting it today. If you have played red alert, you will DEFINITLY love Tiberian sun.It may have been rated four stars, but it should be a five star rated game. When the men shoot,it sounds very real, and you get giant machines that walk around and blast your opponent with missles.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Review.( I can't think of an name), January 2, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun - Firepower Bundle (CD-ROM)
Tiberian Sun. Wow. W-O-W.

Well, this is strategy game. Ach... how can I start the review?!

This is a good RTS. You take the side of a commander fighting for the Brotherhood of Nod (Nod) or the Global Defense Initiation (GDI)... I think that stands for GDI.

The two sides are different, and graphics are pretty good. TS is a deep game, and you have to play it for a long time to find out each side's strengths and weaknesses.

One thing that needs some 'repairing' is the skirmish AI. It's not that smart, and it
1.doesn't need to explore
2. MONEY

Well, I'm a newbie to good reviews, so it's bye...

...For now... muahaha

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Quite Is Much Fun As The Old Red Alert-But Nice, May 3, 2009

I've always been a fan of the Command & Conquer line of games. I really like the Older Red Alert series of C&C games, and being slightly less aggressive than many of my friends, I tend to like to built and play my own maps. That said. I like this game. Even though they tried to make the terrain more real and changed the engine some, I found it fun to play. I still like Red Alert one best, but this game will really pull you in. Money well spent!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Average strategy game with some lost potential, March 10, 2002
By
This review is from: Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun - Firepower Bundle (CD-ROM)
Let's face it...the Command and Conquer line has earned it's place in gaming history and will continue to be apart of that history for a time to come. Blending a great deal of strategy with economics. This game is one of the middle level games on the ladder of the great games that have come from the good people at Electronic Arts as far as C&C games go. The game is graphically impressive and is a dream in playability allowing the use of various strategies to achieve one objective. But, the game is still a spot linear in achieving these objective. The units in the game however are suppose to earn intelligence with the amount of combat experience they recieve, particularly the infantry. I never saw this losing more infantry that any other unit in the game, even the armor which I utilized most, But this did not really detract from the overall experience. The storyline is still as good as Red Alert and lays the ground for later Command and Conquer games to come. So if you can find this game cheap...I suggest you pick it up...it'll give you a decent amount of fun and might make you think a little. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars A typical C&C, June 18, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun - Firepower Bundle (CD-ROM)
This is a great command and conquer, great guns and explosions. It's all you could want except a totally different game. The main point is if you have the last few you have this one to. If I were you I would only buy this if you don't have the last ones. If you do have the last few try something new like age of empires or Pharoh or any other strategy game.

This review is from: Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun - Firepower Bundle (CD-ROM)
Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun and the Firestorm addition are the best RTS games you could own. With hours of solo play missions, unlimited skirmishes, and multiplay options to boot. A must own for any fan of the C&C series and a great starter for an RTS fan as well.
