"A Commentary on the Chemical Weapons Convention" is written by two authors who have been involved in the negotiation of the CWC for a long time, including during the finalization of the treaty, and who combine legal and technical expertise. In the absence of State practice, the Commentary draws attention to provisions which will need further elaboration and clarification by the work of the Preparatory Commission of the CWC in The Hague.
