5.0 out of 5 stars Quick read/quick start
This is a short book, but its to the point and is packed. Points you in the right direction, makes you think of technical and people impacts, and even explains why something is recommended. No boring long code samples-this person is coming from a business background, with strong technical understanding.

1.0 out of 5 stars A feeble effort at best!
I've been had! This little pamphlet is worth every penny of 99 cents! I still can't believe I spent the money I did for a superficial, spiral bound pamphlet that's geared to a reader with the intellect of a turnip (I can't even call it a book!). There is no useful content of any substance in this pamphlet. This might be a good resource for someone who is completely...

This might be a good resource for someone who is completely in the dark regarding anything internet or business-related, who is looking for a very high-level overview with a lot of bulleted lists. Maybe a Dilbert-type manager who wants a few buzz words to throw around at meetings, hoping to impress someone, would find it useful. I'd strenuously recommend that you not waste your money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Insufficient e-Content., May 17, 1999

I was very disappointed with the content of this book. The description and other reviews made it seem that I would have a greater understanding of how to set up an e-commerce site after reading this book. This is not the case. The content consists primarily of common sense concepts, formatting issues obvious to anyone who has used an e-commerce site, and information that can be obtained easily from the web sites selling e-commerce components. This book seldom got beyond high level concepts.

Do not waste your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great reference for small businesses considering e-commerce!, March 29, 1999

This review is from: E-Commerce: Internet-Enable Your Cash Flow (Spiral-bound)
This book is a great reference for small business owners who are considering e-commerce as a next step in their business model. The book flows well and is written in such a way that it will be useful for web-savvy owners, as well as those business owners just getting started with the web. Readers will be able to determine if their products lend themselves to e-commerce. The author skillfully uses case-study type examples woven into the text to keep your interest. Cost estimates are comprehensive and easy to understand.

This is a must-read for small business owners who are interested in understanding if their business will benefit from e-commerce and what the initial costs could be.

Well done!!

This is a must-read for business owners wanting to get started in E-Commerce. And for consultants who need to help business owners what is involved with setting up an E-Commerce site for the first time.

All the aspects necessary to a successful on-line store are covered. And some good examples are included.
