Maybe call me daft, which is ok, however following the 3 step directions left alot to be desired. First off why don't they ship this thing pre-assembled? Instead they ship it where you have to rig it like a sailboat main sail. After this fiasco where the cloth was all dirty from laying on the ground it took about 10 mins to get it situated where it belonged. Once we did that it was even more difficult to raise it. I know that once its rigged up that it is very easy to pop up but the initial setup was a real bear.

Ok, now its put together and every time I take it down and put it up it is truly EzUp! To be honest it can be put up by 1 person. I have seen it done several times. Its safer to have 2 people though especially if you are opening it on grass. Reason being is when you pop it up if one of the corners snag it can bend the whole frame out of whack. Take your time and you should not have any problems or break anything. Spread it apart as far as you can with your arms then push up on the cross members labeled "Push Here". Then slowly raise the sides to lock them in at the top. Then, extend the legs one peg at a time. If you do this it will pop up easily and not break anything.

It comes with a ton of accessories like side skirts, a front shade screen and more. If your on grass take the 2 mins to put the supplied spikes in the feet to hold it in place, there will be less chance it will blow over. Sofar its been up for me about 3 times in bad weather, I would not want to be out in the rain without one. Also, in blistering heat it is cooler under it due to it being white.

If your having a banner made for the front for your business like I did the dimensions are 9' 10 1/2" wide x 14" high. Its not truly 10x10, close enough for government work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Made it through a rain storm November 12, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase
This tent was used at a festival last summer for the first time. It was a good size and fit 2 tables with plenty of room left in the center for chairs and walking. It also held up through a rain and wind storm.

It is a good quality tent and I would recommend it for this price level.

1.0 out of 5 stars Commercial? Not even a little bit. October 29, 2010
By AmyJ
Amazon Verified Purchase
First off, the package was damaged in shipping and thus the storage bag arrived torn. The storage bag is fairly useless, as it's not only torn more since I've owned it and hauled it around minimally (it's lived a pleasant life in my garage except for being used four times since I purchased this EZ-Up,) it barely services as a wheeled bag. Most of the time, it flops over on it's side, forcing me to carry it everywhere.

Set this up for the fourth time since I've owned it, only to have a single gust of wind tear it up before I could even get it weighted down. Two struts are bent beyond saving, and several of the straps for the walls ripped out entirely. Now, this wasn't a strong wind, nor was it long-lasting. It was a single gust, and not terribly strong.

This IS NOT a "commercial" unit. Not recommended. Also, because I don't do many fairs and outdoor sales, this didn't happen until well after the "30-day" warranty. A commercial structure should have at least a one-year warranty, which I also sadly wouldn't be covered under, so the point is mute.

I won't buy another EZ-Up product, nor will I purchase from this seller again. 30 days?

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very EZ up July 25, 2009
By JeFaMe
When my husband and I first put ours up, we had the directions out, following them exactly. With hands exactly where they were supposed to be in order to get the thing up, nothing was happening. So, we applied a little more pulling out and pop! One of the frame pieces snapped right in half! I needed the shelter for a show that weekend, so contacting the company would have to wait. We still struggled and struggled to get the thing up (and my husband is a fit, muscly guy who works out daily). We used duct tape as a quick fix, but the shelter still seemed to buckle in that area. So cheaply made and not easy to put up at all!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Party tent! December 3, 2011
By Lori
I have had this tent for 3 years. It gets about 10-20 uses per year. Over time one of the velcro tabs ripped but we left it out in heavy wind. I was surprised to read some of the reviews about how hard this tent is to put up. Around here two drunk guys can get it out and put it up over the grill in the rain before you can say "wanna cold one?". We lent it out many times as well and got it back in perfect condition-so I assumed it was pretty easy for them to put up as well. We never removed the top cover from the frame as I have seen some people do and we only use a side wall one time. We always tied it down with the stakes and and/or a rope.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very fragile. Customer service is less than impressive. January 29, 2010
These canopies are very flimsy, and have to be treated with kid gloves. They won't stand up to any sort of weather, and will blow over in a very light breeze. Parts are extremely expensive, and customer service people treat you like a bother. Not a great company.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not great! June 23, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase
I used this product just once. Mildly windy day. Three out of four corner hinges broke. I contacted the company who would send replacement parts but it is nearly impossible to describe which parts I needed. I got the parts several months later and am Not sure where to begin on how to try and replace the parts or even if they are the correct parts. I would not recommend this product.
