A Must for Anyone Putting Together Poultry Rations,
By Robert Plamondon (Blodgett, OR USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Commercial Poultry Nutrition (Paperback)
A lot of poultrykeepers feel the temptation to invent their own chicken feed blend. Doing this successfully requires quite a bit of knowlege, and this book provides it. It's quite accessible to the interested layman, though it assumes you already know something about nutrition (for example, it doesn't explain what amino acids are or why you'd care). Not as exhaustive as Ewing's massive and long-out-of-print POULTRY NUTRITION, but it's more up-to-date and far easier to use. |
