About the Author

Written by veteran TV commercial actor and top male model, Karl Preston, who is currently with CED, L.A. Talent and 15 other agencies around the world. His credits include 100 or more national & foreign commercials, over 500 fashion shows, and 100's of print jobs for magazines, catalogs, calendars, posters, and billboards, as well as Starring roles in Film and TV...making him over a million dollars to date.

From Karl's background as a TV commercial actor and model, he has made a natural progression from one side of the camera to the other as a professional photographer...8 years running. While he doesn't actively pursue photo assignments for magazines, catalogs and the like, he does occasionally accept industry jobs if time allows. Most recently, Karl was hired to shoot a Taiwanese catalog and a CD cover. His forte' is shooting commercial / theatrical headshots as well as modeling portfolios for many of the leading agencies in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas. I bought this book from Amazon a while back. This book was one of the best investments I could have made. It is jam packed FULL of USEFUL information. You will NOT be sorry you bought this book.

Karl has put everything you need to know to break into this field into one book. All I can say is BUY it.

not only does this book look like its for kids but it is .... well in a way... what I mean is it can be uesed by almost all ages... it's worth checking out.
