An informative, if unfulfilling, abridged version.,

This review is from: The 9/11 Commission Report with Related Documents (Bedford Series in History & Culture) (Paperback)
This Bedford Edition of the 9/11 Commission Report is an abridged version of the more comprehensive complete report. Editor Ernest May has succeeded in trimming a lot of fat, and the result is this very readable edition that is concise, informative, and compelling. Its brevity makes it extremely useful as a book for a class in current events, modern history, or political science. It certainly covers a great deal of information in a short form, and although I found it quite captivating, I ended up feeling that something was missing and moved on to an unabridged version. This abridged edition is a good overview that accomplishes what it intends to, but if you want more background and detail, opt for an unabridged version instead.
