More About the Author

Marc is referred to as "The King of Business Opportunities". The name was actually given to him as a joke during a brainstorming session for a newsletter Marc's team was launching with Agora and Early to Rise called Profit Center Dispatch.

In the meeting, top-level copywriter, Don Mahoney, blurted out, "My Gawd, he's the King of Business Opportunities!", and it stuck.

Marc's launched, bought and sold dozens of businesses. He's advised hundreds of entrepreneurs, start-up ventures, product development and business owners.

Marc has also advised several high profile direct marketing campaigns. He's written hundreds of articles, essays and columns on hot rising trends and legitimate business opportunities.

Marc speaks at select events and continues to advise business start-ups and entrepreneurs. He recently launched a program to help entrepreneurs in India and China break into the US market.

Marc's first writing "project" was Yahoo! Unplugged, which become one of the first "interactive" products on the Internet - it was a book, CD and online forum. He reviewed more than 8500 websites and e-businesses in his column over a 5-year period.

He lives a low-key life in Owls Head Maine and Clermont Florida. He's married and has three kids. Marc and his wife homeschool their kids. Marc has written more than twenty non-fiction books.
