If I had to pick a favorite song off the CD it would be "Wait Another Day."

This album truly shimmers from beginning to end. Purchasing after hearing "Explode", I was hopeful that there was more to this band than a one-hit punch. Surprisingly, each song is sugar to the ears, blending electronica and rock, while adding just a hint of sweetener to each song. The hooks are huge, and the vocals are as alluring, gritty, and downright sexy. There's a tragic longing to each of these songs, creating the electrical mood often experienced with a first love, and inherently, first heartbreak. It's nice to hear an album that just flows great from one song into the next. Definately worth the purchase.

I stumbled across these artists quite by accident. I listened to this album one song at a time as I could find them on you tube, their myspace page and mtv.com. I was hooked, bought it and love it !
Real talent here, two ladies who do it all. My first thought, seconds into the first song was ABBA, after a few songs I decided to 'Take a Chance...' on them, bought the cd.
Great music here, I'm gonna watch these two and hope they play a venue near me soon. I'll be there!
John

As some other people have said, it's a bit hard to describe UHH's new record. Forget categories, genres, and labels... it's just so easy on the ears! The only two songs I tend to skip are "Everyone" and "Dreamer", but it's hard to have a CD where you love every single song, so 9 out of 11 isn't bad at all. Give it a try! You'll love it. P.S. I saw these two ladies perform live last year, they're awesome!

I have to say I have been a fan of The L Word so after hearing some songs from the cd on the show I knew I had to get this cd. It made me Think of Veruca salt which I loved with the 2 women vocals but I like Leisha and Camila as a duo. Very good cd I've been waiting for something decent to listen to that has come out recently. Music has been sucking so much lately that I have mostly songs from the 90's on my mp3 player. Thank you Uh Huh Her for something I can call music!

This CD is the best female rock CD I've heard. Everyone who loves rock, indie or just good music will love this CD. I' cant wait for their next CD, due out sometime early next year...This is the best female rock group out there today.

Brought this cd for one song Wait another day, beautiful song. The album continued to surprise with the opening Not a Love Song through to Explode and closing with now probably my favourite Dreamer. Highly urge anyone to at least have a listen, this cd is on constant play in my car and love it. Hoping they tour down here in Australia I will definitely be there.

You may know Leisha Hailey from her Yoplait yogurt commercials or perhaps you caught her as Alice on a little show called The L Word. Some of you may be aware of Ms. Hailey's love for creating, writing and performing music. In the past she has been a member of such bands such as The Murmurs and Gush (the later title of The Murmurs) but did you know she was currently in a band with Camila Grey or that their new CD, Common Reaction, has not only gotten a wide and welcome reception but the CD is good. Really good.
The title Common Reaction is perfect and the reaction to the disc should also be a fairly common positive one. There are very few music compilations that are perfect as a whole. This CD is fantastic from start to finish. Their lead single Not A Love Song is catchy, rhythmic and plaguing as I have been unable to get this song out of my head for the last 6 ½ weeks. No really... I am kinda wishing it would stop. Though I cannot pick a clear favorite from the songs I am quite partial to the title track, Common Reaction and the tiered way Leisha Hailey built this song. Her degree of awe is only upped by the fact that she has chosen the perfect musical partner in Camila Grey. Ms. Grey's voice is complimented greatly by Leisha's and the entire blend of voice, music and persona comes out in such an amazing package that once you have listened to their album or seen them live (I wanted to go and couldn't!) you are sure to be hooked.
The way Leisha and Camila write the songs is complex and wonderful. She layers in background vocals while she writes the main lyrics (at least this is what I hear anyway) leaving you astounded by background vocals that are just as good as the main lyrics and leaves you torn between singing along with Camila or tearing off and singing the background with Leisha..
