There was a lot of interesting information in this book, however, there were also many contradictions. Most books of this type are from either a Christian, Buddhist or New Age point of view. This book approached it from the viewpoint of Hinduism, and for that alone, it was interesting. If you are unfamiliar with Hindu sacred texts, there were some good references and stories. The book itself was easy to read and had minimal typographical and grammatical errors. The problems I had were with the direct contradictions.
At the very beginning of the book, the author advises against note taking, saying that you will remember what you need to. Then, at the end of each chapter, he provides a few pages entitled "Notes:" Already, I am cautious. There are, upon close reading, several other contradictions along the way. After a quote of Krishna saying that he hates none and favors none, there is a story where Krishna and Arjuna visit one of Krishna's "favorite devotees." What? No favorites, but favorites? The most striking example, however, is when Krishna states that "there is no being in this world or in the world of heaven" who is free from the agents of change, yet the author advises the reader that he must raise his vibrational level to be free of the agents of change. Who is correct? Krishna or the author? How is it possible to do- on the advice of a mere mortal- what a god says is impossible? The author also falls into the "all gods are one" trap, but that is very common in non-Christian books of a spiritual nature. It is a nice thought, but there is no evidence that it is true.
This book is clearly not capable of speeding up your enlightenment to the extent the author claims. However, no book is.

Amazon fan of Seven Spiritual Strategies by Sri Vishwanath

'Seven Spiritual Strategies' is another exceptional book by Sri Vishwanath. When you are looking to understand the Spiritual life in an easy and simplistic way, you have that book right here. In this book you will find answers to questions you have asked yourself a million times and are never sure of the right response. Let me give you an example. You have asked the questions," What is my purpose in life?"," How long do I have to meditate before I see any progress?", or How do I detach myself from my present concepts and perceptions?". In this book you will easily find answers to these and more questions. It is beneficial to those just starting to inquire about a new path in life as well as those who have been on the Spiritual path for a long time. As I have done, you will thank Sri for his easy manner with your transition and/or further knowledge of the process to the Spiritual life.

This is a very informative book. I've read it once and will go back to it time and again. It needs to be absorbed a little at a time. The ideas are excellent. I am eagerly looking forward to implementing the ideas into my life. Much better than sitting under a tree for 20 years. Thanks for writing this wonderful book!

This book is far too coy with it's stated purpose. It runs on and on with, arguably, entertaining stories from obscure Indian texts but is constantly dangling the "carrot" of its title to the reader.

After 100 pages, I want to be told, exactly, what ARE the 7 signs of a Spiritual Awakening?

Also, some of the "exercises" seem off the wall, particularly since the reader is not really made sure of their purpose. One thumb down.

An excellent and practical resource for true "self" realization. Trillions of matters have been written and preached on Self realization. But, I must say, this is one of the most honest, upright, "light weight", sincere and it most importantly, "it works". The reason I mentioned "light", was because the material is without jargon, without any attachments of any kind, and very adaptable. This may require some stringent practice and discipline as any successful endeavor in life deems. Yet, the best thing about this is that "Sri Viswanath" here speaks honestly and sincerely from his experiences.

I would sincerely suggest it to even those who have nothing to do with self realization, meditation, yoga or other things. This is sure to benefit them too. In fact, it may make you more staunch and firm in your belief as it directly works on your self.

It gives clear reasoning and staunch faith for person from any socio-religious background.

Thanks for Sri Viswanath for bringing this out and sharing the secret of the ECode with all.

Profound wisdom compacted into easy understanding, not by the intellect, but by the heart/mind within. The truth IS ready to be digested NOW! I enjoyed the flow of each chapter with the climax of the E-code revealing the way to evolve into the higher mind. It is so simple, when you realize that each on earth is dancing to the tune of their drummer's march. How refreshing it is to understand that the only way is to see truth is through the eyes of God, Who accepts each without any restriction! Can we do the same with our own living environment - with all that is labeled right/wrong in the world? A great eye opener and lots to consider!
