5.0 out of 5 stars For Lovers of Trivium Ascendency, Disarmonia Mundi, Solution .45, etc, October 14, 2011

This has gone into rotation of one of my favorite albums. If you liked Trivium's Ascendancy album, any Disarmonia Mundi, Solution 45 and its likes, you will enjoy this album. Awesome workout and place it in when I need to get pumped! Great job on the album!

5.0 out of 5 stars blarrrr..., February 13, 2012

...these two dopes ^ with the other reviews dont know what the hell theyre even talking about. Vocalist does NOT sound like phil anselmo. and the new album does NOT sound like anything trivium has done. Cipher system is its own brand of swedish melo/death metal and the new album is great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just listening to this burns calories, February 17, 2012
This review is from: Communicate the Storms (Audio CD)
This is just good hard tunes. It will get you pumped, so try not to listen to it at work or your overbearing boss might catch a right hook. I took this album on my morning run without having heard it and for the love of all that is holy, I probably ran 3 miles in 10 minutes. You can distinguish with clarity the guitar, bass, and chest thumping drum work from the vocals. Very well mixed, and well executed album. If you're not in to triumphant yelling vocals, or screaming destruction then I would still recommend this album based on instrumentals alone. The guitar is non-muddied beefy toughness at all times, with heaps of battle worthy crunching gallops. The bass is subtle, yet powerful. I think the game ball goes to the drummer, who does what can only be called WORK on this album.

Buy this. Melt face. Love life.

Cipher System come roaring back with finally the sophmore release. There are new members in the group.Overall the music is fantastic, but in my opinion the new vocalist doesn't fit the bill.He reminds me of the vocalist who took over in the Finnish band Enter My Silence, very Phillip Anselmo-ish.To me as a melodic deathmetal worshiper that style doesn't on vocals fit to well for me,once again this is my opinion.
Overall very good effort,I would recommend to buy.
