The V.A.L.U.E.S. system can be applied to virtually every position and job function in your organization. And if you are in sales or customer service, this system is an effective template for establishing long-lasting relationships with your customers.
I recommend this book for all who are looking for ideas on how to be a better partner, friend, sales person, service person, manager, or even a better parent.

A book of great "Value", June 15, 2006

This book taught me a great deal about how to communicate and listen more effectively. There are GREAT andecdotes and stories sprinkled throughout which make for a very enjoyable and accesable read. I would defy anyone not to be able to relate on some level with the material written in this book.
With the modern world relying more and more upon electronic communication it is a breath of fresh air to be reminded of the importance and necessity of actually being able to communicate with one another as opposed to typing an email or talking to a machine. The world could be a more pleasant place, if we could all learn to communicate with VALUES.
