This review is from: Communication Skills for the Health Care Professional: Concepts and Techniques (Paperback)
We are using this book to introduce future therapists to patient and professional communication issues. I especially like the focus on cultural sensitivity and competence as well as the emphasis on patient-focused communication. The section on communication in difficult circumstances is invaluable for entry-level professionals in today's hectic, cost-centered healthcare arena.
