This book is written for the people... By the people,

Communion Letters serves as a wakeup call to those who persist in denying the experiences of thousands of individuals all across the globe. If nothing else...this book should have made people seriously question "What Is Going On Here?" It also is a great help to those who might think they are alone in their confusion as it is a CLEAR indication that "We are NOT Alone" at all....cosmicly speaking Rose

Lots of variety in this book. It's like having a book of short stories in it and they cut right to the chase and get to the point. No filler, just the facts. This is a good book to read if you are busy and don't have a lot of time to really sit down and read. Some of these letters are one page long, so you can read that page, then later read another or two. One of them starts off "When I was five, back in the 1930's..". Another: "I will begin by saying that I was ten years old in 1953..". One more: "I have a daughter, age eleven". I really liked the letter entitled "Gangsters from the beyond". There is something in this book for everyone.

Interesting maze of strange accounts.,

One of my favorite letters in the "Communion Letters" is the one about the man, who as a child, encountered a secret underground military/alien base near Hamilton Field, Ca. It's bizzare stories like these that will keep you turning the pages. Unfortunately, there is little way to verify the validity of these stories. Hopefully, Strieber will follow up the accounts in this book in his next book.

I don't understand how this book could be looked at as horrible. I read an awful review just now and I didn't get it. This book is full of great stories. If you don't believe them to be true then just look at the book as a horror novel. And if you can imagine what you are reading actually happening, it will scare the hell out of you. This book is great for reading at night. It just creeps the hell out of me. So buy sleeping pills. "Simply Sleep" seemed to work the best for me.
If you're into reading his other non-fiction books I suggest reading these (They're in order): -"Communion" is a must. -"Transformation" is the next one and it's just as good if not better than communion in my opinion -The following one is "Breakthrough" which is not as good as the previous two but is worth the read. -The next is "The Secret School" which is another must read. Great book. -I'm reading Confirmation right now and it's alright. . . I just started it though. Again, this book rules. Your thinking "Should I trust this guy"??? Yes, you should. Buy it. It's like a bunch of scary campfire stories. True or not . . . Just freaky. . .and insightful. Some stories are actually quite spiritual. . . I just finished it yesterday and I'm planning on re-reading some of my favorite stories in it again tonight.

Spooky Stuff that makes you think and wonder!,

Great follow-up to the orginal book "Communion". We hear from others who have experienced encounters and visitations. These letters paint a huge picture of what may be going on that others write off as unreal.
The book continues the mystery about the "Others", "Grays", "Friends" etc.

This book terrified me. I didn't sleep for a week! The stories are usually believable but sometimes the people who write the letters sound like they belong in an asylum.

This book allowed me to understand my experience personally. Unfortunately, the author continues to ignore me and my organization. But that doesn't mean the book isn't good, it was worth the money!

We have been infested by little demons from hell.,

This review is from: The Communion Letters (Paperback)
Excellent account of the alien phenomena. These little interdimensional demons continue to do their scheme on humanity in an attempt to procreate and survive the upcoming armageddon. Through hybrid activity they think that they can invade this dimension and effect the affairs of mankind with total dominance. Their fate is sealed and they know that the lake of fire awaits them.

This book was like torture to get through. Letter after letter of unbelieveable and often incoherent ramblings actually made me believe less and less about the possiblity of alien life. Granted, when these people wrote to Strieber they had no idea that they would be published, but it was often difficult to know the sex of the person writing (usually women.) Another annoyance was that none of the writers told of their abductions in chronological order. It is scary to think that this book is pulled from the best letters of 200,000! Stay away from this book. |
