About the Author
Anne Urne began her spiritual quest when she picked up the Bible given to her as a child. She had such a dazzling experience on her first read that she never put that book down until years later after reading it cover to cover over 20 times. Anne credits St. Therese of Lisieux, her patron saint, for guiding her on a remarkable spiritual journey of a soul. In 2000 she began recording wonderful insights and information that came to her from these studies and this evolved into her books. She completed each small book at Christmas. 2000 to 2003 she wrote: WAY BEYOND THE RIVER; THE WALLS CAME TUMBLING DOWN; and IT CAME TO PASS.Then, published them in A SPIRITUAL TRILOGY. In 2004 she completed the fourth book of her journey entitled:TRUST ME, THE UNTOLD STORY OF MARY MAGDALENE.Again, this book was concluded at Christmas. It wasn't until 2011 that these books were publicly published and offered when Anne reunited with her cousin who owned a media company in California and they collaborated to re-publish the Magdalene book. The journey of a soul continues in her most amazing book completed at Christmas 2011: COMMUNION OF SAINTS, INSPIRED BY ST. THERESE.
Anne Urne is an award winning author and recipient of 2014 Mate E. Palmer Award for her non-fiction book, The Mother Who Loves You. She is a member of the NFPW, National Federation of Press Women, and the IWPA, Illinois Women's Press Association. She enjoys traveling to various book shows and festival. Her favorite venue is the Chicago Tribune's Printers Row Literary Festival. She also enjoys spiritual adventures with her cousin, Susan, as they travel the globe.
It is no surprise to Anne that her books lean toward the importance of the feminine role in religious and spiritual history since she came of age during the movement that ushered in the Equal Rights Amendment.
In the beginning Woman was created - then she was omitted from all historical and biblical accounts.
Finally Woman is identified and restored not only to the equal status of the fallen man, but more importantly learn how she single-handedly rescues mankind from his fallen state of sin.
A beautiful and most remarkable story that is so profound yet so simplistic you will be astonished. Never before told until Anne Urne discovered the identity of Woman and now she cannot stop sharing her story that is contained in all of her books. A must read for a Woman.
Anne is longtime student of Scripture, Apocrypha, various religious traditions, mysticism and spirituality. She is an author and publisher. She lives in Oklahoma with her husband and continues to write.
