This review is from: Communists, Cowboys, and Queers: The Politics of Masculinity in the Work of Arthur Miller and Tennessee Williams (Paperback)
I read this book many years ago, so I don't remember it terribly well. But I saw it had no review. It's a great book. I learned a lot about Arthur Miller and Tennessee Williams. There is a lot about Miller's the misfits and masculinity. There is some analysis of Williams short stories. One story about a self-hating homosexual and how he looks for men the dark of a movie theatre? or something. But the book also talks about positive reflections of homosexuality in Williams works. I found it very enlightening.
