As a community based psychology reasearcher and counsellor I have found this book invaluable in pointing out the merits and pitfalls of engaging community members in research. Theory and practical examples guide the reader through strengths and challenges of a methodology which is gaining in importance but lacks commitment in areas that need it the most.
