First let me say, I'm a huge fan of Community. I've watched every season at least five times.

I was really looking forward to hearing intriguing information about the cast, their relationships, and the history/origins of the show. Unfortunately, this video doesn't reveal much. Instead, this panel proves what any dedicated Community fan already knows.

Throughout the entire video, Chevy was constantly trying to be the center of attention. I really wanted to hear what these great actors had to say; but it was difficult to concentrate with all the "laughter" stemming from Chevy's attempt at physical comedy, his constant interruptions. You can tell that the Russo brothers were getting a bit upset in the earlier parts of the video.

Someone needed to explain to Chevy that this wasn't a stand up comedy act- it's a panel designed to give the fans a new perspective about the show. Don't get me wrong, I love Chevy as an actor. But his actions have ultimately contributed to what I, and many others, consider to be the demise of the show (all the drama, the firing of Dan Harmon). It's worth noting that this panel was filmed during the middle of season two. That speaks volumes about how long the cast had to put up with his nonsense, and how long this charade carried on for. There are obviously numerous reasons why Dan Harmon was fired, but Chevy's antics were probably the final nail in the coffin. I've watched countless interviews with the cast, and just about every single member has some issues with Chevy. I had no idea how far these problems went back.

I'm going to admit I could only sit through the first thirty minutes. I never attempt to review videos without completely watching them, but this was truly unbearable after a certain point. I made an effort to sit through it; it just wasn't happening.

This really goes off the rails fast, and I did watch the entire thing and there are a few interesting moments but most of it is really embarassing and awkward interruptions, mostly by Chevy Chase. It isn't funny, and it isn't all that informative either. Quite disappointing, as the show, especially in its early days, was worth knowing about.

Thank you, Paley Center, for sharing that Producer Dan Harmon was actually in a community college at age 32. After watching this DVD, the show's storylines are even better and the characters feel like real people. I love live discussions like this because they make you feel like you're part of the fun. I've watched a lot of bad behind-the-scenes clips that are boring because the producers just sit there and drone on about the show. I also loved how Dan Harmon and Joe Russo described picking each actor. They share a lot of funny stories that cut right to the point of creating good TV. Chevy Chase's crazy antics on stage are hilarious too! Thumbs up on this DVD.

Great show, great cast! Chevy Chase has still got it! Ken Jeong is the funniest Korean alive! Too bad Alison Brie couldn't be there though!

I love Community and I was looking forward to watching the special. However, I only watched 20 minutes of this before having to shut it off due to Chevy Chase's unending annoyance. He made it impossible to appreciate the other cast and crew's answers.
