Purchased the 2 pack with the Community coffee. To start the coffee was great have have since used either my favorite Chock full of nuts or Dunkin. The ekobrew filters to a little getting used to but now my whole family uses them (even the kids) Not sure how you could poke the bottom unless it was early morning and you were not awake yet. The little handles on the side of the filters make it easy to set into the machine. I would follow the others directions about the amount/type of coffee to use and make sure the top is clear and set right or you could get some grinds in your cup. Other then that it makes a great cup of coffee at a great savings.

We are ordering more as we are a family of 6 and all use them. They are easy to clean and with the small handles easy to remove from the machine.

I''m so glad I decided to purchase this! I'm able to enjoy other types of coffee now that weren't available through the K-cups. It does take a minor amount of adjusting to get the amount of coffee and grind correct to make a good cup of coffee, but it's really not that hard. I think I've made maybe 2 cups that were off, but not a big deal. I've already recommended this to both my mother and mother-in-law!!

While I haven't tried the coffee yet, the ekobrew filters are awesome. I also have the keurig my k-cup, but these are much easier to use and I highly recommend them.
