not exceptional coffee, but good for the price. Has a deep roast flavor without any bite or burnt taste. Medium bodied and it's difficult to make it taste and feel like a full bodied cup even when using twice the beans.

This coffee is very good, especially for the price here on amazon.

It is dark and bold without bitterness and tastes great with cream and sugar too, the coffee flavor is strong enough for add ins without getting lost. I ground it superfine and made an espresso shot with it for a mocha and it was very good in that too.

I think this would be good to serve to guests, since it is well-rounded and good black or lightened, I think it has universal appeal.

I would recommend purchasing this Community Coffee Whole Bean Coffee, French Roast.

I really, really love this stuff. Been making my own pods for the senseo because I can't find pods that are great that don't cost a fortune. This makes a delicious cup of coffee for me.

I am no coffee snob, but I have had a lot of different brands and roasts, and I'd say this is my favorite so far! It's a strong flavor, but not a bit of bitterness, I love it! I just wish Amazon would put it on the S&S program!

I was skeptical when i first purchased this because i got it pretty cheap and i'm used to buying pretty pricey stuff at the store. But it's actually pretty good! I will definately keep on purchasing this, saves me quite a bit of money. Also, stays very fresh when kept in the freezer

For the money (on sale), this is one good coffee, especially if you are a black coffee drinker as the different varieties are very flavorful;not as acidic as S*B**** and a great value.

I've always figured New Orleans was the best place in the world for a lot of things, coffee being just one of them. I'm right !. All three beans we bought were the best we've ever had. I ordered directly from Amazon. The coffee received only has 3 months of shelf life left. Unless you can use up all 3 bags in 3 months, you will end up throwing away some of the coffee, and that's a waste of money. Coffee bought from the local stores usually has much longer shelf life left. Be informed before you order.

We love Community French Roast. I use the subscription plan and get it for about $4.50 a bag. Love it.

I normally only drink Starbucks coffee. so when I stumbled onto this, I was quite skeptical. By no means am I a java snob, but I am very particular about the kinds of coffee that goes in my mouth. The Community French Roast really surprised me. It's flavor is bold, aromatic and fresh. It honestly rival that of Starbucks and Peet's. I have purchased more and so grateful for the amazon members' reviews.
