Product Description
Community Education in the Third World is a far-reaching collaboration which contains a wealth of experience in the development of community education across the globe. Cyril Poster and Jurgen Zimmer have gathered contributions from as wide an area as Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, Mexico, Central America, and Costa Rica--contributions which examine community education in every context. While the contributors present each country and continent as having sought its own methodological path, the influence of Paulo Freire throughout the book testifies to the mutual support theory and practice offer one another.
