This manual was prepared to be used in training community health workers, and it is a model on how to communicate basic health information in a clear and respectful manner. The manual is divided into 13 chapters that cover a wide range of topics, including health and customs, community development, a healthy home and village, maternal health, child health, nutrition, sickness and injury, among others. The text is wonderfully illustrated.
