When my parents brought that black record back from brazil in 1973 it was just a shock, for them, then for us: how were such splendid voice tones possible ? how was it possible to bring so much melancholy or fantasy into music? Even if you don't understand Portuguese or Brazilian dialect you have the feeling you just understand it crytal clear: this recording can help you to go through different moods, love, sadness, etc. Perhaps the best Bossa Nova record ever.

As a Fan of the Brasilian Music i took this oportunity to by the whole Vinicius only realizing its not the whole....dont get me wrong its a great Collection but it doesnt include for example the two Disc of La Fusa with maria Bethania and Maria Creuza.The booklet shoes in the Back more of not included material.
The package is olso not well thought as the Discs come in Papersleeves without Protection(if you are frequent listener the discs will show shortly...With another Package would have given 4 Stars - for example Slim Hardcases.
A collectors Item Yes but the Price is defintly to high
