I had started this semester thinking I had all my books but turns out was the only one I was missing. I have english 2 days a week and I thought for a while I could go all semester without it, but I learned that wasnt true after we started doing essays on the assignments in the book. I didnt know how much the textbook was gonna cost at first so I was dreading having to buy it. But I found this one for a great price and it got to me within the week and I was able to jump right in with the rest of my english class. As far as the contents of the book, Im not huge on poetry, but I like drama and theres plenty of that in there.

It's your average english textbook, so you won't really be touching it much once you stop taking the class. But you won't want to throw it away instantly.

We are using this book for my Intro to Critical Thinking class and it is worth every penny. It does a great job of helping to understand what is required for the next class in Critical Thinking. I recommend it.

This is a decent book for the average English class. It contains several short stories, poems, and drama. It contains very good information and analysis on all. Good book.

I am happy with this book, and especially like the sample essays and the final part of the book which teaches strategies for writing about literature.

This was filled with great stories and insightful quips about the themes and authors.
As far as school books go, it was great!

You're a smart college student. You want to save money on books. Go ahead and order this book. I did and I laugh at the kids who purchased from the bookstore.

the book was used but is in good condition and it arrived on the estimated arrival date( the latest but it arrived nonetheless)

I was so happy to receive this book because I thought I had to buy it from the bookstore. I saved a ton of money and it came expeditiously. Thank you once again.

I had to read this book for school. The book as a whole though was NOT boring. It didn't make me fall asleep or anything. So I guess that was a good thing. Although it was written so as to keep the readers interest or rather attention, the stories were, in my opinion, very inappropriate.
