After reading all the reviews on sweepers, I was about to despair when I found this one-I actually ordered it on ebay as it was cheaper. I'm telling you, this thing works. It is sturdy-the handle screws together and is made of steel, not tin; the brush picks up dust bunnies, cat hair and cat litter, leaves, you-name-it on hardwood floors! Great product in between vacuumings. I didn't try it on carpets as that isn't our problems here, tracked in junk on hardwood is. And it easy to empty and comes with a brush to clean the roller. Simple to assemble. Quality is still possible!

My husband was skeptical but he is now a convert. I love this thing. I use it to sweep up crumbs that my kids leave all over the place. It works really well, I rarely have to get out my vacuum now. Get one! Don't hesitate!

Having dealt with trying to vacuum the stairs before, I knew that a carpet sweeper would be in order when we moved into our two story house and so, after doing a bit of research, found this one on Amazon with it's one glowing review - I echo all the sentiments expressed in that review and can add that it works perfectly on our stairs and whenever I don't feel like getting the vacuum out for some crumbage or leafery that has drifted onto any given carpet. I am surprised every single time I open it up to empty it out at the vast quantity of rubbish it's picked up over and above what I actually took it out for. It's always nice to be surprised that sort of way :)
