Customer Reviews

Very sturdy well made light.

The brightness of the light exceeds my expectations, and the easy push button makes turning it on/off is easy.

Fits well on the Glock 23, which is the same as the size and rail as the Glock 19.

I decided to try a couple of the bargain priced tactical weapon lights so I ordered this one from AIM and this one Tactical 180 Lumen Led Cree Powered Pistol Flashlightand with shipping i barely paid over $70 for both of them. The one made by AIM is compact and feels well built and so far I have had no problems with the light itself. Where I ran into a problem was that when I mounted it on my 9mm XDm it did not want to go as far back on the accessory rail as I would like it to, which wasnt that big of a deal because the light is very compact. The biggest problem I had with this light was the way you turn it on. If you look at the picture, the nub on the very bottom is the on switch . You need to push it straight in, upwards towards the pistol. This presents a huge problem if you are using any kind of adequate grip on your pistol. It is near impossible to do and keep your pistol on target. If you were using it it for home defense you would need to turn it on right away, or not at all. The light i got from Tactical, has a switch that you push laterally across the axis of your weapon's barrel, and this can be done with your non-firing index finger as long as you are right handed.

This fits great on my Ruger SR9c. Very bright for such a small light. Will definitely be useful in a home defense situation.

I was looking for a light for my PF-9. The other lights that work for my gun are too expensive. With a small amount of filling on the back of the light where it stopped if from sliding back far enough to lock in, will allow it to lock into place. For the cost and how bright it is, it's worth it. By the way the filling required on the light does not affect its ability to working on another gun. I am very happy with the product.

Seems like a very nice light for the money, with battery included. It's not a $250 weapon light. I don't think it's really 150 lumens. I would say more like 90-100, but that's plenty bright. Fits well on the Glock 23, which is the same as the size and rail as the Glock 19. On/off switch is a push button on the bottom of the light, which is not as slick as a Streamlight TLR-2 rear mounted rotating switch, but it works well, feels solid and is inexpensive. This is a one-function light - on and off. No hi/low brightness, no strobe, no momentary on. Some features would be nice but for this price if it holds up, it can't be beat. Made in China which is pretty scary but it looks to be pretty good quality. The mount isn't quite as snug as I would like, but I don't think it will break or come off under normal (stress situation) use. The snap-on/snap off installation is convenient. Seems fairly secure but spring loaded snap on accessories are always bit of a risk. Hey, if you have the bucks get the $250 weapon light but if not this looks like a good option - better than no light at all. Comes with colored filters but they reduce the light output too much. The illumination pattern is good. Weight of the light (actual, not the shipping weight) is 2.5 ounces. You can tell it's there but it's not annoying. I'll have this out on the range this weekend. If there's any problem I'll update this review no later than 1/20/2013. If you don't see an update, it didn't fail. I recommend that you shoot this thing yourself before trusting it - even if mine works ok you need to test the one you get. It is a Chinese light after all. By the way I ordered mine from M1Surplus, and it was shipped very promptly via mailing bag using USPS. Arrived in perfect shape.Read more ›

Compact, awesome pistol light for the money. Fits my Glock 19 perfectly, is very bright, and super easy to install and remove. Great buy!

One of my biggest pet peeves is how people leave reviews about the customer service of the company and not for the product -- however my review is of the product and a note about the company.

I was excited when this came, looks great on my Springfield. I took it to the range and after the first magazine was done, this would not light up. I even ordered new batteries, but nothing. Appears that you might want to take this off BEFORE firing... worthless!

I give it one star because of that, but this had the potential for 3 stars...

Afterwards I emailed the company, they told me to ship it back and they would give me a new one, great! However, after several weeks I never received a replacement. I even emailed with NO response. So now instead of having a faux light on my firearm, I have nothing and they even have their broken product back.

I would not buy from this company due to how they handled my situation.

Got this today and tried fitting on the S&W M&P .40 The mount will not go all the way back and lock in place on a compact or sub-compact. The way to fix this is pretty simple but takes a little time. I slid it on as far as it would go then marked approx. how much metal would have to be removed from both sides of the rear of the mount. Got the old dremel out and started removing a little metal at a time until it would almost click in place. I took some 400 grit wet or dry sandpaper and finished removing the rest of the material on both sides, checking it little by little until it clicked firmly into place. I spent about 45 minutes on it but it was worth it. The light is just as bright as my other more expensive 150 lumen ones. I wanted a cheap alternative for using around the house and this seems to fit that. After modifying it to fit I took it out in the backyard and it lights up all I need to see just fine. For the price its not bad but just remember if you have a compact or sub-compact this will not just snap on. I put it on my Colt Defender.45 and it snapped right in place. Works fine with no mods. on full size semi-autos. I ordered another one today for the wifes M&P.
