The napkin holder is nice and the iris pattern is correct, but the color is not white as is the rest of the shadow iris set that I own. It is off white or ivory, almost ecru, so if I put it next to anything else from the shadow iris set it looks dirty; therefore I don't display it anywhere near any other shadow iris items I have.

I love flowers motives on my dining room table and they do not need to match anything, even though I do have a couple of Corning place settings that do match this design. It doesn't bother me (or anyone else in my family) that the background color is a bit on the dull side. It's a very lovely napkin holder nonetheless and adds a nice touch to the table. Reasonably priced and well made. No complaints!

I was thrilled to discover that Jay Companies had finally produced a napkin holder in MY pattern! I'm not sure why some patterns have more accessories made for them than others, but.....I now have a coordinating holder for my napkins and I'm a happy camper! I also purchased the butter dish (another MIA accessory that had been produced for other patterns). These new items, made to compliment the new square style dinnerware, are much "sturdier" than their predecessors (i.e., not quite as "dainty"), but coordinate very well. One minor drawback is that they are hand painted and therefore, the colors, at least on the items I received, were a slightly darker color even though the pattern is the same. This may vary from set to set. But overall, I am very pleased!
