Worthless,
By It was an inferior design. The pump would not work. I called the Primo customer service. After waiting for 1/2 hour, I was offered the chance to leave my number and they would call me back. They didn't. I emailed them. NO RESPONSE. They have an inferior product and no support. I gave it to the engineers at my hospital. They laughed at how small the compressor. They took it on as a project to see if their team of engineers could make it work. I bought another brand that worked and I am poorer, but not so thirsty.

B & D Water Cooler,

Very easy to set up. The taste is bad initially. We are on our second bottle and the taste is improving, either that or we are getting used to the taste.

The short version: the water cooler made the water taste foul. We returned it.
The gory details: We got this water cooler three months ago in October 2008. The trouble started right away. The cooler turns nice water into a foul-tasting liquid that I wouldn't serve even to my neighbor's ill-tempered dog. My daughter said "It tastes like a motor" and wouldn't drink it. My wife wouldn't drink it. I'm not so sensitive, but even I didn't like it. I read the instruction booklet, which didn't offer much help. I called the manufacturer and they couldn't explain the foul taste either, but told me to clean the system thoroughly with water and bleach. I washed the inside of the cooler with water and bleach, and ran several gallons of water and bleach through the cold and hot water systems. That helped a lot--for about a week. Then the foul taste returned. Then the water cooler started leaking all over my kitchen floor. At that point my patience ran out. We took it back to Target. This water cooler has been worse than useless.

I don't understand the reviews about bad tasting water. When I got my cooler home I flushed out and emptied the water reserve line/water holder and then followed the instructions on filling the dispenser and dispensing 4 cups of water each from the cold tap and the hot tap. The water I used to fill the cooler was bottled water. I then purchased a water bottle for the top of the cooler that has a filter in it. The water has tasted fine, no taste at all. The cooler keeps the water very cold. I'm very happy.
