This is a package of miniatures specifically set for use with the Shadows Over Camelot board game.

The miniatures are a beautifully painted plastic and they look exactly like the picture on the box due to wonderfully sturdy packaging. They have no odd bends and permanent twists like the WotC plastic miniatures.

The game does come with seven miniatures and the only reason to pick this up is to add a eighth player. The problem comes from the fact that while the base game lacks a spot on the round table for the eighth player is minor but, neither the base game nor this set does not include the player sheet for the sixth player.

The character card for the additional player (Sir Bedivere) is available from the Days of Wonder website with a thorough bit of searching and then it will take a bit of work to make the card reseble the ones included with the Shadows Over Camelot game.

All told, whether you use them for the board game or for other miniature games, they are finely crafted, painted, and robust plastic pieces.

This expansion adds several colorfully-painted play pieces to your Shadows over Camelot game. It includes Sir Bedevere, which is the only gameplay-enhancing element. It's an aesthetic update, and won't change your game in any meaningful way.

This game is unlike any other! You are a knight of the round table, OR when you learn the game well enough you can be a TRAITOR! Multiple quests are available, teaming to win with many ways to lose all combining to make an intricate strategy game. Altough it says for ages 10 and up, our 8 year old is able to play with minimal help. If you kids are decent readers, then younger can play for certain. We love this game and in general all games from the Toys of Wonder are terrific... see others like Ticket to Ride and Ticket to Ride Europe... Search Toys of Wonder and you will not be disappointed in any purchases you make! The game can be played by up to 8 players. Truly, the more the better. I think it is best with at least 4 although the 3 brave knights version looks interesting. We mostly play with 4, 5 or 6. Anyway, this game is awesome and VERY worth the near [...] you pay as no 2 games are alike. Enjoy!!!!
