Good but not enough.,
This review is from: Noah Company S-kw410tg Wireless Aluminum Touchpad Keyb 2.4ghz Plug & Play With Windows 98 (Electronics)
I got this for like 2 weeks now. It is light, like nothing is inside of the box (without internal HD). I bought it because I want to have all my ISO movies in one place and have the luxury of select which one want to watch depend of my mood at that moment without swap DVDs. I'm using an external USB HD. I haven't try 1080p because my TV doesn't support it, even though picture looks very impressive. Bad things: Remote Control is poor in response, poor menu presentation and few times so far it freezes and I have to power cycle it. I haven't tried other options yet. I think this product is good for a try and a lot things to discovery(wireless, eRadio, etc).

Even though I ordered the MG-45 I was sent the MG-450, which I believe is basically the same except it has wireless capabilities and a HDMI output. I was mainly looking for a budget movie server and so I didn't use the wireless networking so I cannot comment on that portion. The build quality was rather flimsy, I suppose to keep the cost down. I installed a 500gb Seagate HD that had a bunch of DVD's ripped to it. You have to hook the device up using a standard RCA A/V cable first and them turn on the component or HDMI outputs. I hooked it up to my Vizio 32" LCD TV via a component input to test it. There's not actual DVD playback software, you have to go to the file manager, find the folder with the movie you want to play, open any subfolders until you find the .ifo file required and select it to start the movie playback(the manual does tell you what file to look for). Once started it was just like playing it on a DVD player. There is optical and coax outputs for digital audio. I moved the device to my Samsung 50" DLP TV where I could get no video output using component or HDMI or even RCA video out. I decided it was not ready for primetime and sent it back. Perhaps a firmware upgrade might have helped but I didn't pursue it. I think it's on the right track but it needs better quality hardware and a software DVD player.
