This chair is more sollidly built than it appears in ads and it's very comfortable. The seat height is adjustable for just about any position you need. Well worth the expense.

This chair is worth its weight in gold. Very solidly built and makes observing with any telescope a sheer lelaxing experience. I used to get back aches out under the stars....not any more. Thanks to Starbound for making a solid, comfortable and very affordable chair.

I am an advanced amateur astronomer and have recently purchased this item after my decent astrochair (old Apogee AstroChair) broke after several years of satisfactory service. This chair is so much better!

It arrived many days ahead of schedule. It is very well-constructed and solid. The seat is very well-cushioned and movement of the seat up and down is fairly easy. It was extremely easy to assemble with just a 7/16" driver.

One (very minor) downside: whilst the chair itself can fold flat, the seat cannot. One would have to unscrew the two knobs on either side of the back brace in order to remove the seat for entirely flat storage but this criticism is very slight compared to it's other positive attributes. Well done!

This chair is well built. It feels sturdy. The lean angle is really nice if you have a pair of binoculars. You can lean back and enjoy the view. The chair comes through Adorama and the service was quick. It was cheaper than Orion. How well the padded part will hold up only time will tell. I haven't been able to use it as much as i would like because of the weather.
